Our Speaker: Rachel Whitsitt, Whitsitt & Whitsitt, LLC.
Rachel Whitsitt's topic of discussion for our CLE will be family law (including Divorce, Paternity, Child Custody, and Child Support) and the role of the paralegal. Besides family law, Rachel also specializes in business/corporate organization and contract law.
Here is a little more information about our speaker:
Rachel graduated from Kansas State University with degrees in Political Science, Psychology, and International Studies. She then went on to get her J.D. from Creighton University School of Law, where she earned an award for excellence in Trial Practice. Rachel was then admitted to practice in Colorado in October, 2010. Seeing an opportunity to join her father’s practice, Rachel returned to Kansas, and was admitted to the Kansas Bar in April, 2012 and the Missouri Bar in September, 2012. Rachel is committed to treating her clients with respect, and resolving their cases as efficiently and fairly as possible.
Rachel serves clients throughout Kansas and Missouri, with the majority of her practice occurring in Johnson, Wyandotte, and Jackson counties.

This meeting and CLE is open to all HPA members, and non-member paralegals, legal assistants, legal secretaries, paralegal students, and other legal support staff. Reservations are due no later than 4:00 p.m. on the Friday immediately preceding the event. If you need to cancel a reservation, please do so before noon Friday, February 19th. If your registration is not cancelled before the deadline, you will be responsible for the full registration fee.
Payment may be made online by credit or debit card. Please do not mail your payment unless you must do so because of a last minute cancellation.
