Event Details:

This fall, we will be assisting Giving the Basics with their annual fundraiser: Race for Dignity 5k. We will be assisting with participant check-in, race course cheer leading, water/aid station, post-race food/beverage, and/or handing out finisher medals.

Giving the Basics

Giving the Basics provides the necessities of life not covered by government assistance programs that most people take for granted such as laundry soap, shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper and other personal care hygiene products.  As Kansas City's hygiene hub Giving the Basics assures that adults and children in the metro have access to what they need to be clean, and live with hope, health and dignity.
